Bill owned a landscape company when he met Linda 37 years ago.  After they got married they sold his business & both began a Master Degree program in Counseling @ Liberty University.  Upon completion of their degrees then came the question, “Lord, where do you want us to begin our counseling ministry?”  They soon sensed God opening a door in the Four Corners area OF America. Moving to Farmington, NM in 1994, God prompted them to start the Biblical Counseling Center.  They acquired many counseling clients from diverse races including many Navajo. Two years later Navajo Ministries asked them to join their staff & continuing to provide Biblical counseling for those in need. Bill worked mainly with men & their issues, 1st responders & couples. Linda worked with women children & teens, including foster children. 

After 23 years, in Farmington, they (temporarily) retired to Ruidoso, NM.  After 2 years, 
in 2020, upon finding out they were retired Biblical counselors, the pastor from First Baptist, Ruidoso asked them to start a “lay counseling ministry” @ 1st Baptist as well as offer professional counseling to those in need.

In November 2023, Bill & Linda went back to visit their old stomping grounds in Farmington, connecting with old friends & visiting the Four Corners Home for Children, formerly Navajo Ministries, Inc. (Where they were employed for over 20 years).  There they learned of a continuing need for mental health counselors for staff & the children of Four Corners Home for Children.  After considerable prayer & discussion they have decided to re-engage with the Four Corners Home for Children serving as staff counselors & mentors.  They will be traveling from Ruidoso to Farmington for the first 2 weeks of every month starting in January 2024 - they’ve heard it said, “once in ministry - always in ministry.” - they just couldn’t say NO!

And this is the victory that has overcome the world our faith...
