Community Standards
The Community Standards For Frank Are Based Upon America’s Constitutional Republic and the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God That Are Its Foundation
America’s Founding Fathers established America as a Constitutional Republic that is specifically based on the Ten Commandments and the law of nature and nature’s God. One need only visit the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC and read the inscriptions on its walls to understand the fundamental role God has played in guiding our Republic. As Thomas Jefferson stated, “God, who gave us life, gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God?”
In keeping with that belief, Frank is a place for discussion by those who recognize our freedoms are gifts, not from government, but from God. Currently, Big Tech and the mainstream media are censoring individuals who speak out on events that are undermining our Republic and transgressing on our God given rights. Frank is a forum for discussing these issues free from their censorship.
But what is the basis of a republic?
The foremost legal authority of the Founder's day was William Blackstone. Introduced in 1766, Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws became the legal guidebook of early American leaders. Blackstone's Commentaries, in fact, formed the basis of American law for hundreds of years and was considered authoritative even in the U.S. Supreme Court. William Blackstone revealed that our Constitutional Republic is based on the law of the Divine. Commenting on the need to keep our laws consistent with God's laws, Blackstone states:
“To instance in the case of murder: this is expressly forbidden by the Divine. If any human law should allow or enjoin us to commit it, we are bound to transgress that human law. But, with regard to matters that are not commanded or forbidden by those superior laws such for instance, as exporting wool into foreign countries; here, the legislature has scope and opportunity to interpose.”
As with anything in life, with freedom comes the responsibility to act appropriately. Frank is not a platform for anarchy or an “anything goes” mentality. Mike Lindell has publicly stated that the community standards for his broadcast, social media platform Frank, will not allow for certain content or words to be broadcast on his platform, including the use of the Lord’s name in vain. Respectful discourse and following the “Golden Rule” found in the Bible are strict requirements.
At one time, even the mainstream media in America agreed that America’s foundation was built upon the Judeo-Christian worldview. In December 1982, Newsweek published a cover story examining the influence of the Bible on America. The story also discussed the fact that President Ronald Reagan and the U.S. Congress declared 1983 to be the “year of the Bible.” Newsweek wrote, “For centuries [the Bible] has exerted an unrivaled influence on American culture, politics, and social life. Now historians are discovering that the Bible, perhaps more than the Constitution, is our founding document…”
Many Americans falsely believe that America is a democracy and therefore what the majority of Americans want or desire should become reality in the arena of public policy, laws, and public values. Not so.
Not only was America’s federal government formed as a republic, but the Founders included a provision in the Constitution requiring that “[t]he United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government…” (Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution). America was founded as a Constitutional Republic and therefore, when one defends the Judeo-Christian worldview, they are defending the very foundation of our Constitutional Republic that is based upon the character and nature of God by which men should regulate their behavior.
Frank is grounded in certain eternal truths, including respect for the rights and human dignity of others. In keeping with our legal and Constitutional history as a nation, Frank will enforce and enjoy community standards that are consistent with the legal and constitutional standards embodied in the laws of nature and nature’s God that are the basis of our federal and state Constitutional Republics.
