Trans violence keeps happening, when will our society learn?

A high school hockey tournament at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena became the site of a deadly shooting on Monday afternoon. Authorities reported that a gunman targeted his own family members in the stands, resulting in the deaths of two victims and leaving three others in critical condition.
The shooter died at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after being confronted by a witness.
Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves identified the suspect as 56 year old Robert Dorgan, who also used the name Roberta Esposito. Dorgan was the father of a high school senior participating in the tournament. According to law enforcement and court records, the shooting appears to be the result of a long standing domestic conflict.
Documents from a 2021 divorce settlement show a history of legal disputes involving Dorgan’s gender transition and mental health concerns.
The violence broke out during a game between Coventry and Blackstone Valley schools. Panic spread through the arena as spectators dove for cover and players scrambled off the ice. Police highlighted the actions of an unidentified good Samaritan who stepped in to subdue the gunman, likely preventing more casualties. The deceased victims are reported to be adults, while those hospitalized include family members and a family friend.
Just last week, a trans-shooter in Canada ended the lives of 8 people at Tumbler Ridge High-school. This isn’t a one off instance, but a continuing problem. At what point will the media recognize that the trans ideology is based upon mental illness? People with genuine mental health issues are being coddled and affirmed in their “gender identity” as if this is best for them. It isn’t. If our approach to transgenderism doesn’t change, then this issue will continue to fester, and more people will suffer.
