President Donald Trump issued what could be a serious warning to Minnesota agitators amid urban turmoil, alleging that the protests against ICE enforcement operations in the state were mostly fueled by “highly paid professionals.”
The protests, sparked after the ICE-related shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, have disrupted traffic, sparked conflicts, and garnered considerable attention on social media.
“In Minnesota, the Troublemakers, Agitators, and Insurrectionists are, in many cases, highly paid professionals,” President Trump argued on Truth Social. “The Governor and Mayor don’t know what to do, they have totally lost control, and our currently being rendered, USELESS!”
Democrat Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey have done little, if anything, to suppress the chaos in the streets, thus drawing the ire of the Trump administration.
As reported by LindellTV, another ICE-related shooting unfolded this week, sparking an uptick in the protests and contact between demonstrators and federal law enforcement agents and driving an increase in violence against law enforcement in the city.
“If, and when, I am forced to act, it will be solved, QUICKLY and EFFECTIVELY!” President Trump said in his statement on Friday.
Amid rumblings of unrest and possible U.S. intervention in Iran – and a military operation in Venezuela just a few weeks ago resulting in the arrest of Nicolas Maduro – many Americans are hungry for solutions to domestic unrest.
“It’s grimly hilarious that Trump wants to overthrow the mullahs in Iran when he hasn’t even pacified Minnesota,” observed LindellTV host of “The Absolute Truth” Emerald Robinson.
Of course, domestic enforcement operations are quite a bit different than striking foreign countries, and the president has issued multiple blunt warnings to Minneapolis, urging officials to do their jobs and take care of the unrest on the local level.
“If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law & stop the professional agitators & insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State!” the president wrote on Thursday.
Elon Musk, the SpaceX and Tesla visionary, remarked that it was “Time to invoke the Insurrection Act” on X.
