President Trump says a ‘NEW’ regime has risen in Iran amid negotiations

Negotiations with Iran seem to have been fraught with problems, following the preliminary strike on the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a political and religious figure, and the annihilation of several layers of leadership.

A new regime may be testing the waters of leadership in Iran, and they might be willing to negotiate with the United States of America, according to President Donald Trump.

“The United States of America is in serious discussions with A NEW, AND MORE REASONABLE, REGIME to end our Military Operations in Iran,” the president said very early Monday morning on Truth Social.

Operation Epic Fury was launched four weeks ago and has proven to be a massive military effort.

The president continued, “Great progress has been made but, if for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be, and if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately ‘Open for Business,’ we will conclude our lovely ‘stay’ in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their Electric Generating Plants, Oil Wells and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalinization plants!), which we have purposefully not yet ‘touched.’”

The president has previously remarked on the complexity of negotiating with Iran, following joint U.S.-Israeli air strikes that have killed or incapacitated leadership in the country, leaving diplomats with no one to speak with.

“Their Navy’s gone, their Air Force is gone, their anti-aircraft is all gone, it’s all gone,” President Trump said in mid-March. “Their radar’s all gone. Their leaders are all gone. The next set of leaders are all gone. And the next set of leaders are mostly gone. And now, nobody wants to be a leader there anymore. We’re having a hard time. We want to talk to them, and there’s nobody to talk to! …And you know what? We like it that way.”

Last week, during a cabinet meeting, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff confirmed that the U.S. negotiating team had put forth a 15-point peace plan framework for Iran to review. This plan, he noted, was handed over to the Pakistani government, which has been acting as an intermediary.

Over the weekend, President Trump, while gaggling with the press aboard Air Force One, confirmed that the Iranian regime had received the plan and responded to it.

“Yeah, they came back on the 15-point plan, they gave us most of the points, why wouldn’t they?” the president said. “…We asked for 15 things, and for the most part, we’re going to be asking for a couple of other things. And just to prove that they’re serious, they gave us all of these [oil] boats.”

The president explained that Iran – presumably under this new, yet unidentified body of leadership – had gifted the United States “20” oil tankers so far.
