President Donald Trump touted rosy polling numbers with American voters on Friday, as his popularity begins to climb amid what appears to be a wind-down in the war with Iran.

“Other Polls have my Approval Rating at 65%, and more!” the president wrote on Truth Social. “Like Journalists, Honest Pollsters are very rare and hard to find!”

He linked to a poll from McLaughlin & Associates. According to their June survey data, 50 percent of Americans approved of President Trump and his policies, versus 46 percent who disapproved. This is an upswing from last month’s data, in which the president had 48 percent approval versus 47 percent disapproval.

“MY REAL POLL NUMBERS ARE THE HIGHEST THEY HAVE EVER BEEN. THANK YOU!!!” President Trump wrote earlier this week.

The survey also asked voters, based on Democrat versus Republican Party lines, who they would potentially support for president in 2028. Among Democrats, former Vice President Kamala Harris snagged the top spot, while current Vice President J.D. Vance held the top spot for Republicans.

Another key statement that indicated strong approval among all Americans for the “America First” agenda: “While I may not agree with everything that Donald Trump and the MAGA movement says and stands for, I think they are right about putting America and the American people first.”

63 percent of respondents agreed with this statement. Another 51 percent indicated that they approved of President Trump’s current ceasefire deal with Iran. 76 percent of Americans in the survey additionally agreed that Iran “must agree to never produce nuclear weapons with American and International inspections to verify.”

On Friday, Rasmussen Reports released its daily presidential tracking poll, showing slightly different data from McLaughlin, with 46 percent of likely U.S. voters approving of President Trump’s job performance and 53 percent disapproving.
