First Lady Melania Trump hosted a classy black-tie screening of her upcoming documentary film “MELANIA” at the White House over the weekend, complete with themed popcorn buckets and sweet treats.
“I am deeply humbled to have been surrounded by an inspiring room of friends, family, and cultural iconoclasts at the White House last night,” Mrs. Trump wrote on X. “Each of these individuals each brought their unique vision to the world, making a lasting impression. Our personal stories endure time and serve as a reminder of our mutual obligation to one another. It was an honor to present my new film, MELANIA, ahead of its global launch.”
The film is slated for nationwide release this Friday, and follows the First Lady in the 20 days leading up to her husband’s second inauguration in January 2025.
Marc Beckman, a longtime senior advisor to Mrs. Trump, praised the “magnificent occasion.”
“The evening was defined by extraordinary warmth, grace, and a palpable sense of love – an atmosphere as moving as it was unforgettable,” he remarked.
Backman is also listed as a producer on the film, alongside Brett Ratner, Fernando Sulichin, and Mrs. Trump herself.
“It’s such an important, beautiful, insightful, warm & fun behind-the-scenes portrait of our spectacular First Lady @FLOTUS @MELANIATRUMP. I loved every moment of it,” wrote Ambassador and Chief of Protocol Monica Crowley.
President Donald Trump was also spotted at the screening of the film, sporting a classy black tux alongside his wife, who wore a white blouse and black velvet tuxedo pants.
