Hamas faces ‘LAST CHANCE’ as clock ticks on Gaza peace plan

President Donald Trump on Friday issued what appeared to be a final warning to Hamas as he awaits the terrorist organization’s decision on whether it will accept the terms of a proposed plan that could bring peace to Gaza.

“Hamas has been a ruthless and violent threat, for many years, in the Middle East!” President Trump said in a statement posted to Truth Social.

He added, “They have killed (and made lives unbearably miserable), culminating with the October 7th MASSACRE, in Israel, babies, woman, children, old people, and many young men and women, boys and girls, getting ready to celebrate their future lives together.”

The president said that 25,000 Hamas fighters have been killed as “retribution” for the October 7 attack against Israel and noted that the terrorists’ remaining forces are largely trapped in Gaza.

War has raged since 2023, following the Hamas invasion of Israel, which has plunged the Middle East into chaos. Political lines have been drawn between those who believe Gaza should fall under Palestinian authority, while others believe Israel should have a claim to the territory.

This week, President Trump presented a 20-point peace plan to bring an end to the conflict in Gaza. The plan included the phased withdrawal of Israeli troops, the return of Israeli hostages (from Hamas), and a prisoner exchange. It also includes the demilitarization of Hamas and the complete stripping of its political authority.

“I am asking that all innocent Palestinians immediately leave this area of potentially great future death for safer parts of Gaza,” President Trump said on Friday. “Everyone will be well cared for by those that are waiting to help.”

The original plan allowed for a 72-hour window that would give Hamas an opportunity to return its hostages to Israel, both living and deceased. It does not appear that Hamas has complied within the time given.

The president said Hamas “will be given one last chance” to agree to the peace deal, which is already supported by “Great, powerful, and very rich Nations of the Middle East” and others.

“We will have PEACE in the Middle East one way or the other. The violence and bloodshed will stop. RELEASES THE HOSTAGES, ALL OF THEM, INCLUDING THE BODIES OF THOSE THAT ARE DEAD, NOW!” President Trump demanded.

He has given Hamas a 6:00 p.m. ET deadline to reach an agreement, referring to this moment as their “LAST CHANCE.” He warned that “all HELL” will break out against Hamas otherwise.

“THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER,” he concluded.
