The online speculation appears to have originated from an X user who claimed Cruz was flying to Laguna Beach. That claim is inaccurate. Laguna Beach does not have a commercial airport, and there is no evidence supporting the allegation that Cruz is traveling there or attempting to evade the storm.

Weather models indicate that Texas could face dangerous conditions in the coming days, including freezing temperatures and possible disruptions to travel and infrastructure. State and local officials have urged residents to monitor forecasts and prepare accordingly.
