All right, folks, we will do a quick news segment, and then we'll get to our guest. Of course, you knew this was coming. We reported yesterday that the face diaper mandate had gone down in flames thanks to a judge here in the state of Florida, a federal judge appointed by Donald Trump. Right away, all the major airlines, at least all the airlines with a brain, quickly repealed and ended their mask mandates. Well, now the Department of Justice is riding to the rescue to save us from being able to breathe the air. So, in response to this judge's ruling, the DOJ said that it still believes that the CDC has the authority to force all Americans to wear diapers on their face when they're traveling. This is what they said in a press release, The Department of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention disagree with the district court's decision and will appeal. Subject to the CDC's conclusion, the order remains necessary for public health. The department continues to believe that the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given the CDC to protect public health. This is an important authority the department will continue to work to preserve. Okay, folks, so just when you thought, yay, we can breathe again when we're on airplanes. Nope, just kidding. The Department of Injustice is going to be wasting your money to make sure you have to keep putting these things on your face, and we showed you some of the videos yesterday. There were many more when this was being announced on airplanes all over the country. Crowds were cheering all the passengers; woohoo, ripping the dumb things off their faces. Honestly, I don't think they're going to be able to get this genie back in the bottle. The toothpaste is not going back into the tube. I don't believe people will do this anymore. We're done with the theater, but we'll see. We shall see, and hopefully, an appeals court would have enough sense to keep this silly thing struck down.

Alex Newman: Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve is being radically politicized. In fact, a Republican state senator in Minnesota is accusing the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, which, by the way, is a private corporation. When I first learned this, I called up the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. I was like, are you guys a private corporation? They're like, yeah, and I was like, who owns you? Well, our shareholders own us. Who are your shareholders? Well, the private banks, the regional banks that are in this region. So, what happens to the profits? They say, well, we distribute profits to the shareholders. They all get a dividend. Oh, wow, now, why didn't we learn this in civics? Anyways, the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, a private corporation that is leeching off of the American people, is now getting highly involved in the political realm. In fact, they are formally supporting the so-called page amendment that would alter Minnesota's Constitution to guarantee a quality public indoctrination for all - oh, sorry - public education for all children in the state. Very strange that a central bank is demanding changes to a state constitution. Oh, very weird, and so this is what the state senator wrote in his letter to Kashkari, the guy who oversees this monstrous institution. For more than two years, you've been improperly using your position as president of the Minneapolis Fed and Minneapolis Fed resources to aggressively lobby Minnesotans to support the page amendment. Okay, he said this amendment is highly political as it wades into an ongoing debate about whether the government runs, school systems are preferable to parental choice in education. It is also controversial because it can be used by liberals to challenge education spending levels in court and give activist judges grounds for overriding levels set by the state's legislature, which is elected by and accountable to voters. Pretty amazing, folks. The Federal Reserve is now literally creating money out of nothing, and they're literally putting it into the political system in this case to advocate more brainwashing for your children.

Alex Newman: A recent paper found that regional Federal Reserve banks were spending more and more of their time peddling these highly politicized issues like climate change and solving inequality. According to the authors of this paper, just 21% of the papers published by the Fed met the definition of activist research, compared with just 4 to 8% between 2006 and 2013. So, a 4 to 5-fold increase in the number of Fed papers taking on activist projects compared to just a few years ago. Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee voted unanimously last week to withdraw from the Commission on Presidential Debates. This is the commission that governs presidential debates. In a statement, the Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the RNC, who is definitely no conservative, said the commission is biased and has refused to enact simple and common-sense reforms to help ensure fair debates, including hosting debates before voting begins and selecting moderators who have never worked for candidates on the debate stage. Okay, that's cute. So, good news out of Shawnee State University in Ohio. They have agreed to pay almost half a million dollars in damages and attorney's fees to a professor because they threatened him with suspension or termination if he refused to use the preferred pronouns of a student. Big victory for free speech, folks. If you want to call yourself a cat or a dolphin or an agender bisexual witch warlock.

Alex Newman: You're welcome to that. But don't try to force me to participate in your delusions. This philosophy professor, Nicholas Meriwether, got a written warning in January of 2018 when he referred to a male student as sir. This male actually identified as a female and demanded that this professor referred to him with female titles and pronouns. Meriwether obviously refused to do that. He said he would use his name, even whatever name he chose to be known by, but he would not play along with this and call him a woman when he's obviously not a woman. So, now this university has been ordered to pay a big fat attorney's fees and damages. You know, the billionaires that want you to pay more taxes. Isn't it cute how you always see these billionaires saying we need more taxes? Well, they never pay taxes. They stuff all their money into these tax-exempt foundations and then raise taxes on the middle class so that you can pay more taxes. Well, according to IRS data, it turns out Democrat billionaire Mike Bloomberg pays less than half of the tax rate paid by average Americans. Yep. That's the guy who's always whining about how we need more taxes, more gun control, more carbon credits, and all the rest of the baloney.

Alex Newman: This is really interesting to me, folks. American Thinker carried this wonderful piece, Confessions of an Ex Disney-Writer, and I want to read this to you. Just some excerpts from it because it's so powerful, folks. He says for many years; I made my living writing TV shows for Disney. I was proud of my work, considering it a privilege to make kids laugh all over the world. But in light of Disney's disastrous embrace of pro-pedophilia policies, I'm glad that I grew disillusioned with kids' TV and walked away from the field. Every kid's TV writer knows that when crafting a story, you have to be careful about modeling behavior. Whatever kids see, they imitate. So, you should model positive traits in your scripts, particularly when writing for preschoolers. Imagine inserting a pint-sized Larry David character in your story who is obnoxious, argumentative, and sneaky. Inevitably, you get notes back from the story editor telling you to revamp the script to avoid modeling negative behavior. So, Disney's recent commitment to add queerness wherever possible can't be explained as just trying to teach tolerance and inclusivity. The executives know that by showing queerness, they are modeling queerness and encouraging kids to imitate that behavior. We do know that Disney has a history of exposing their young actors to convicted child molesters. Brian Peck served 16 months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of molesting a Nickelodeon child actor. One year after his release, Disney hired him to work on the children's series Yay Me, starring London, Tipton, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Alex Newman: Are you getting this, folks? Victor Salva served 15 months in jail for raping and videotaping a boy who was acting in a film he directed. Nevertheless, Disney hired him to direct the film, Powder. And then there's the case of James Gunn, the writer-director of the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films. Disney fired Gunn in 2018 after his disgusting sexual tweets about young boys prompted an outcry. Disney's honcho publicly proclaimed that Gunn's tweets were inconsistent with our studio's values, and we have severed our business relationship with them. But that did not last long. A few months later, Disney quietly rehired Gunn to direct Guardians of the Galaxy three after various stars of the series wrote an open letter begging for Gunn to come back. So, much for studio values. All right, folks, that's from a former Disney writer. Meanwhile, law enforcement officials in Polk County, Florida, right by Disney, announced last week that four Disney employees were among 100 people arrested in another human trafficking sting. Wow. Is anybody surprised? I want to show you a protest, guys. Protests are happening at Disney now on a very regular basis. Check out this footage here from a recent one that's just happened. People put up a big pedo world sign, and grooming is wrong. Logan, if you could show that video, that would be awesome.

Alex Newman: All right, so I don't know. If I was a shareholder in Disney, I would be very upset right now. You know, it's one thing to have stupid political positions. It's another thing to have stupid political positions that literally alienate your entire client base. LGBT activists typically don't have kids. They typically don't have kids to watch Disney movies or buy dumb Disney products to take to Disney World parks and all the rest of it. You are literally alienating the customer base of your company with your disgusting politics, and now it's coming back to bite you in the butt. Ron DeSantis is going after woke Disney. He has asked lawmakers in our state to terminate the special agreement that they have that allows Disney to basically govern itself as if it were its own government, its own voters. They literally operate their own local government, folks. They handle the fire, the zoning, all of it. There's nobody else in Florida that gets that, and just today, the Senate here in the state of Florida passed a bill revoking Disney's special status. This is not going to go well for this woke corporation that thought it would be a good idea to harangue our lawmakers and our governor because they didn't think children ages nine, eight, seven, six, and five should be exposed to LGBT propaganda, hyper-sexualization, and other controversial topics.

Alex Newman: So yeah, good job, Disney. Keep up the great work, and pretty soon, you'll be broke, but that's good. Maybe we'll create some space for some pro-family companies to enter the entertainment market. Lord knows we need some. Meanwhile, former director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has indicated that more charges will be coming, hopefully soon. More indictments are coming out of Special Counsel John Durham's investigation. He was on an interview with Charlie Kirk, and he said. I'm quoting here, "I expect there to be a lot more indictments to be forthcoming from John Durham, besides the ones that have already trickled out so far, and that's based upon documents, many of which are still not yet declassified." I'm not going to hold my breath. I'll be honest, folks. I'm not going to hold my breath. I've been hearing about what great things Durham was going to do for years, and of course, not much has happened yet. But let's see what happens. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I just won't hold my breath waiting. It's not just the Department of Injustice that wants to stop you from breathing properly. Milwaukee Government Brainwashed Campus just reinstated the mask mandate just one day after it came down. Meanwhile, in Rhode Island, they're even nuttier.

Alex Newman: Rhode Island Democrats and Democrats run the state have a new bill that would double the state income tax for unvaccinated residents or residents who have unvaccinated children. Yes, really, this was a bill by State Senator Samuel Bell, and it orders all residents in the state over 16-year-old to take their COVID injections and boosters, those mandated by the state's director of the Department of Health. Isn't it amazing? Department of Justice is destroying justice, and the Department of Health is destroying your health. Anyways, it says anybody who violates the order, and I'm quoting here, 'Shall owe twice the amount of personal income taxes to the state." If parents want an exemption from this atrocity, they will need it, and I'm not kidding you. Three different notes from three different doctors to say that the child is not paid for immunization, and the child themselves will also have to sign the form. Welcome to the New World Order. I also have another video we're just about to get to our guest folks, but we have another video. The secretary of Destroying Your Health and Human Services, Becerra, is his name. He admitted in a very bizarre video that the COVID injections are killing minorities at twice the rate at which they're killing descendants of Europeans. So, check this crazy video out.

Alex Newman: All right. Now, wait for it. The White House will put out a statement saying, oh, that's not what we meant. We meant that you need to get more injections or something. That's what they always say, anyway, I thought it was an interesting admission. We'll see what they say. Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, police officers who identify as women may strip-search female suspects. All you got to do is say you are transgender, and then you get to strip search women. And if the women object to being strip-searched by a man pretending to be a woman, the officer or, excuse me, the perpetrator of this alleged crime can then accuse the person of a hate crime. So, if a male police officer pretending to be a woman strip searches a woman prisoner or a person who's under arrest. If that woman objects to being strip-searched by a male police officer, they could be charged with a hate crime. Here are their new guidelines. Chief officers are advised to recognize the status of transgender colleagues from the moment they transition. Consider being the point at which they present in the gender with which they identify. Thus, once a transgender colleague has transitioned, they will search persons of the same gender as their own lived gender. What could possibly go wrong?

Alex Newman: Also, the Associated Press revealed that, and I'm quoting here, "The most rapid rise in homeschooling the US has ever seen is continuing." They said that parents are continuing to direct the education of the children themselves during COVID. In fact, during a one-year period, homeschooling tripled just from 2020 to 2021, and it only fell off slightly as the COVID restrictions eased. So, that is very good news, folks. Every child saved from a government brainwashing camp is another potential child who can help save this country and who won't be trying to burn it all down to destroy families, destroy churches, and all the rest. Finally, farmers in China, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Vietnam are, of course, the largest rice-producing countries in the world. They are experiencing major problems with their crop as a result of skyrocketing fertilizer prices. According to the International Rice Research Institute, harvest could plunge by as much as 10% in the next season. That means 36 million tons of rice might not be forthcoming. That's enough rice to feed half a billion people. Just imagine what that might look like, and imagine what that might look like if the dollar wasn't king anymore. I mean, everywhere across the state of Florida they were going, oh, have you heard of Luis Miguel? Oh, yes, we have a challenger for the rhino, Marco Rubio. I've got to know, why did you decide to drop out of that race?

Luis Miguel: Yeah. First of all, thanks so much, Alex, for having me on. It's a huge honor to be here with you, and I'm a huge fan of your work as well. And, you know, I came to a huge realization, and that is the great questions that face our country today are ultimately not solvable completely, really, in Washington, D.C. Washington, DC is far from the answer. Actually, it's the problem, and if we want to have a true restoration of the Republic system was created by the founding fathers and the framers. Then it can come from the inside, which has become so deeply compromised by the deep state. Rather, it has to be a change from the outside, just as in the War of Independence. In the War of Independence, you didn't have an inside change. You didn't have the American colonists come and say, we need to go through parliament to fix the system. No, they took an outside change, fought a war, and established their own government from outside the system. The same thing has to happen now. Ultimately, what the states have to do is reclaim their sovereignty as it was established under the Constitution. And that means a really tough process of austerity through which the states have to apply the principle of nullification and flat out reclaim many of the liberties that have been rather denied by the federal government for so long. The only way I could do that, I realize, is from the state, and it's from the states that the most change can be made. Governor DeSantis is showing how that can be done through the governorship, and I want to be a part of that in the statehouse.

Alex Newman: That is awesome, Luis Miguel. Excellent answer. I thought you were going to say something like, oh, he's got too much money or something like that. So, that's brilliant, and I agree with you. You know, the idea that Washington, DC is going to save us from the problems created by Washington, DC, just sounds rather ludicrous to me. And state government is really the one legal, lawful, legitimate entity that can resist the federal government. In fact, that's what our founders believed. You know, James Madison and Thomas Jefferson talked about nullification as the rightful remedy to an out-of-control federal government. Even Alexander Hamilton said that just in case the federal government ever goes outside the bounds of what's allowed, you know, the states can stop that just by refusing to cooperate with officers of the union. Boy, do we need that today so desperately. So, nullification is huge, Miguel. You and I are definitely on the same page. Another really hot topic in the state of Florida, and I talked a little bit about it during our news segment before we brought you on, is education. Even liberals I'm going around, and even liberals and Democrats are like, wait, wait. Why do you want to teach this to my kindergarten? Is that really necessary? Talk a little bit about what's going on in the education field here in Florida and what you think should be done to protect our children.

Luis Miguel: Absolutely, Alex. Thankfully, we can count our blessings here in Florida that we have a great governor like Governor DeSantis, who is leading the way. Of course, we got the parental rights legislation which, as we all saw, the powers that be, Disney and whatnot, have done all their best to try to slander that and misrepresent it. They're trying to push grooming and pedophilia. It doesn't get any sicker than that, but we have to go after it institutionally because there are systematic situations that empower these corrupt communists, teachers' unions, and other institutions and forces in order to erode the parental rights of our families in the educational system. As so often is said proverbially, follow the money. So, we need to cut off the flow of the money supporting the teacher's unions first and for most if we want to get back to the rights of the parents. Now, of course, we would encourage everybody to go to homeschooling. You've been very vocal about that. I'm very supportive of that. Really, that's the ideal. But still, you don't want to have the influence of these teachers' unions that are communist control, globalist controlled, and that have more weight in the educational matters in our state than the parents themselves and the students themselves.

Luis Miguel: So, again, you cut off the money. Here's what you do. Under my plan, we will prohibit all teachers' unions, whether they're local-based, state-based, or national teachers' unions. Prohibit them from spending any money politically within the state of Florida. That means giving donations. That means doing independent expenditures. That means giving to PACs. You completely bar them from the system. Once you do that, then, believe me, the schools are going to start listening to the parents because the financial incentive to listen to teachers' unions is no longer going to be there. Then similarly, you also take away the right, I mean, not the right. You take away the power they have, which is of the strike or, in the case of the teachers union in Florida. They call them walkouts because any kind of union derives its power in large part from its ability to go on strike. So, you take that away. You take away the power base from a teacher's union. So, part of my plan also establishes that any teacher, any so-called educator, who engages in a walkout will be stripped of their teacher's license. Once you do that, you essentially defang the unions here in Florida.

Alex Newman: Ah-huh, fascinating. I'm going to have to get you back because there's so much to talk about. We're down to a couple of minutes left, and Roger Stone's show comes on right after this.
