When You Come to America, Assimilate Into American Ways

A rally has been canceled as a result of someone complaining that Donald Trump was scheduled to appear. They state they are afraid that it could attract white supremacists. Brannon goes on to tell how he couldn't travel to this event due to time constraints placed on himself. Those who canceled the event say they had a deluge of concern from local residents. The Reawaken America Tour has been promoted as reawakening Christian nationalism and white supremacy.

 
Nationalism is being thrown around at people that are not promoting nationalism. If you are promoting nationalism as the state being of ultimate importance then you are promoting patriotism. If you are saying borders, national sovereignty, national currency, national culture, the national language, and national law, then you could use the word nationalism. America first. We want our own national currency. We don't want to go to a digital world currency. We want our own national language. People need to learn the language when they come here. We need to maintain our official national language. We need to maintain our own national history and heritage. We're not going to give up Thanksgiving or Columbus Day. We will not give up our national anthem. We're not going to give up our national flag, We don't care if people call it racist. It's not and we're not going to give it up to accommodate all of the Marxists, Islamists, and others that have come here.

Don't Give Up Your Heritage, Language, and Traditions

If you don't like America, get out. If you don't want to be in America, leave now. We don't go to your country and tell you that you have to change your history, and your values to accommodate anyone that is an immigrant. You need to assimilate or get out. That doesn't mean you can't maintain your language. You probably should. It's good to be bilingual. You should maintain your values and traditions as a family or as a people group. We are not saying to get rid of your practices as a family. Maybe you do celebrate certain things on certain days on your calendar. There are things that happen in your nation of origin that you wish to recognize. That's part of your history and your heritage. You should not give up that heritage and traditions or forget your history just because you came to America. There are people here from places all around the world that continue to practice certain events. No one is saying to erase everything you have been raised with. That wouldn't be right. But, don't expect America to conform to your country's ways and traditions on a national level.
