Dr. Christine L. North interview – Jesus House – OvercomersTV.Live #603 with Pastor Chuck Reich Dr. Christine North currently serves as the President and CEO of Jesus House, a long-term recovery program providing resources and comprehensive substance use recovery services for individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. She joined Jesus House in 2023 as Program Director, where she led efforts to certify the organization as a Level III facility through the Oklahoma Alliance of Recovery Residences. She has also worked to ensure that the Life Transformation Program operates according to the highest standards and best practices in addiction recovery. Dr. North holds a PhD in Health Communication from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Public Health with a focus on health promotion and education. Prior to her work at Jesus House, she spent 30 years as a faculty member at several universities, bringing extensive experience in education, research, and community engagement.She is deeply passionate about serving marginalized populations, both locally and globally, with a particular focus on helping individuals overcome addiction and rebuild their lives. Her international experience includes volunteer and professional work in Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic.In her current role, Dr. North is committed to advancing the more than 50-year legacy of Jesus House, continuing its mission of providing compassionate care and transformative support to Oklahomans in need.
