WATCH: Sec. Rollins slams blue states for blocking fraud investigations in SNAP and Medicaid programs

0 views Jan 7, 2026

During today’s joint press briefing with @SecKennedy and @PressSec Leavitt, @SecRollins revealed that 22 blue states are refusing to share critical data on federal benefits programs – including SNAP, Medicaid, and child care. “The amount of fraud in these programs is absolutely stunning,” Rollins said. “Minnesota, California, and New York are just the beginning.” Rollins noted that 85% of Americans in a recent poll agree states should be required to share program data to help track fraud and ensure benefits go to those truly in need – not to those cheating the system or in the country illegally. “My request to these governors is simple: Partner with us. Help us protect taxpayer dollars and make sure the most vulnerable, not the well-connected, get the help they deserve.”
