What are the dangers of being tied to your past? You won’t be able to see where the Lord is taking you. If you want to focus on what the Lord has for you in your future, then you must cut the soul ties of yesterday. 

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is a God that moves forward, not backward. He wants you to see what He has for you, the new thing He is doing. He doesn’t want you to focus on the past, but rather have a prophetic focus, one that draws you nearer to Him and His purposes for your life.
